Travel With Impact

Join a Movement to Preserve Bali's Heritage

Bali’s cultural heritage is at a crossroads. Modern tourism fuels over 80% of the island’s economy, but its rapid growth often overshadows what makes Bali unique. As the island's main industry, tourism has the power to either erode this heritage or preserve it. We choose preservation.

We believe that tourism, as Bali’s lifeblood, can do more than just entertain. It can uplift communities, preserve traditions, and empower local artisans. It is about choosing how you travel and creating a positive impact on local communities.

Our Impact Trips are immersive journeys designed to protect Bali’s cultural heritage while offering you an authentic, meaningful adventure. By traveling with us, you’re not just exploring Bali—you’re helping ensure its culture thrives for generations to come. We call this community tourism: travel that uplifts people, preserves traditions, and builds a sustainable future for Bali.

Our Solution

Harnessing Tourism to Preserve Bali's Cultural Heritage

Empowering Communities

We train locals to facilitate workshops, like teaching canang sari making, and promote these experiences within our community. This provides sustainable income, enabling families to thrive while sharing their heritage.

Preserving Art & Cultural Heritage

Bali’s artisans are the keepers of its legacy. By joining hands-on workshops, you provide them a platform to earn a living and pass their craft to the next generation.

Inspiring the Next Generation

Your participation incentivizes young Balinese to embrace their heritage, ensuring traditions remain vibrant, not relics.

Respecting Local Culture

By connecting curious travelers with local communities, we commit to respecting the history, culture, and rights of Balinese people. We educate travelers on cultural sensitivity, fostering mutual respect through authentic exchanges.

Meet Mr. Mardika

Mr. Mardika is a humble painter, priest, and spiritual in The Village Kelusa, Payangan. With his own modest earnings, he funds traditional dance and painting classes for village children, keeping Bali’s artistic heritage alive. Mr. Budiana’s Family

In Banjar Keliki Kawan, Payangan, Mr. Budiana’s family embodies Bali’s spirit despite economic challenges. Earning just IDR 1.5 million ($100 USD) monthly from Mr. Budiana’s labor—half what they made before Mrs. Pilih’s health declined—they remain dedicated to their traditions. We’ve trained them to host canang sari workshops, welcoming travelers into their home. By joining these classes, you provide sustainable income to support their children’s education and daily needs, empowering them to share their cultural heritage with pride.
